Counselling

Catherine qualified from the University of Bristol as a counselling therapist in 2014 after years of working as a veterinary nurse and volunteering with mental health services in the city. She has a wide range of experience of working with adults, young people and their families and has worked in the charity sector as well as in schools and colleges across the UK. Catherine now works as an integrative private therapist and clinical supervisor. She is a registered member of the BACP.

Catherine is passionate about providing the space to help young people find ways forward. She works compassionately with families from a systemic perspective believing that all individuals within a family affect one another and so everyone in the system matters.

Her training and life experience so far has given her a wide range of specialisms and interests which she carries into her work as a therapist including the challenges of mental wellbeing and the workplace, self injury support, bereavement, life transitions and identity.

She is passionate about supporting other therapists through her work as a clinical supervisor and works with individuals as well as groups.

Catherine has a young family and currently enjoys getting into the river and the sea throughout the year and finding ways to express her creativity.
